Welcome to my Savvy Solutions! This is a time for me to share with you savvy ideas and products for your daily life.
I have been trying for years to better organize my jewelry. I purchased this organizer a couple of years ago, but it didn’t work out great in the end. Although it fit everything, it was difficult to find a spot to keep it where I could access it easily. And, if I ended up squishing in clothing next to it, things would get snagged easily.
There had to be a better way!
I realized that I had a lot of unused wall space in my closet! I borrowed an idea I saw in a Pinterest post by The Krazy Coupon Lady for using a dollar store expandable hooks for organizing jewelry.
I bought expandable hooks at the Dollartree and added some personalization with Washi Tape.
I attached them to my walls with Command Strips.
I also went ahead and purchased some Command Hooks to add to other empty spaces in my closet for additional jewelry storage. I’d like to add even more.
I added three to the back of the closet door above my mirror. Although this is usable space, I will note that my necklaces make a good bit of noise every time I open and close the door.
This is how organized my jewelry is now! I love it and I especially love how easily accessible it all is. I won’t forget about a single piece!
