Know Before You Go: Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras Celebration

My husband and I spent Winter Break at Universal Orlando in February of 2016.

Every night from February 4th through March 25th you can enjoy Universal’s Festive Mardi Gras Parade as it winds through the streets of Universal Studios.

The floats are beautiful and elaborate!

The performers are entertaining and include everything from Brave Knights and Fare Ladies to Juggling Jesters.

The spot we chose was on the boardwalk by the lake across from the Transformers Ride entrance and it didn’t feel crowded at all.

They tell you they will throw millions of beads and they aren’t lying! You will have more beads than you can carry. Tip: Don’t get too close or you may feel like you are getting attacked by the beads when they are thrown your way!
